With the recent Shelter Network Bed Drop, we have surpassed the 500 bed mark and have officially delivered 504 beds. We couldn’t be more excited for this mini-milestone and wanted to thank everyone for their continued support. Please check back in as we go for 1000 beds!
AGNS has partnered with The Shelter Network in SF again and delivered 25 more beds to support their permanent supportive housing efforts this past Friday, 4/13/12. We really love what they do and couldn’t be happier to be working with them again. Keep up the great work!
We have received from some amazing thank you letters from clients who have recently received beds. We wanted to share them with you. Names have been left out to protect these people.
Thank you for the beds. I am very thankful because I didn’t have funds to get a bed for me and my daughter.
Without the beds me and my daughter would have been sleeping on the couch. The guys that delivered the beds were
very nice and helpful with putting up the beds. I never owned a new bed. This is my first time. I will remember always.
Please, please, please extend my gratitude and thank you very much to the A Goodnight Sleep for donating the three twins and full bed to my family. We really needed them and appreciate them so much. My children love their new beds and it was the first individual bed for my 6 and 7 year old and they are very happy that they don’t have to share anymore! The beds are very comfortable. When I lay down it just feels so good like I’m laying on a cloud! It really feels like that. Again please extend my Thank you to A Goodnight Sleep and also to you and Beyond Shelter for working with them to provide for families like mine.
Dear A Good Night Sleep,
I want to thank you for the bed you have donated to me. I am really happy that I have a bed now because I had a few years with out having one. I really appreciate the beds you have donated to us and once again thank you so much.

Thanks to all the wonderful people at Beyond Shelter for their great work.
AGNS has delivered 20 brand new beds to The Dream Center here in LA. The beds will be used for the families that they work with who are moving into permanent housing.
Info on the Dream Center Transitional Housing Program:
The intention of our program is to stick with the families for as long as it takes for them to get to a place where they are set up for long-term success. For many families this means education and job training. For others it just means giving them enough time to save up to move out. Each family is assigned a case manager whose job is to track their progress and keep them on the path to reaching their goals. We have each family write out their short-term and long-term goals upon intake. That way we can assess where they are and where they hope to be. This helps us to understand what we need to do in order to get them there. Once families are ready to transition out we do our best to set them up with furniture, food, cleaning supplies, toiletries and anything else that they might need in their new home. We also follow up with each family at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months to assess how they are doing and to monitor the true success of our program.
I wanted to share these with everyone and let you know how much we and our clients appreciate your continued support at A Good Night Sleep. Names our hidden to protect these people…some of whom are victims of domestic violence.
To A Good Night Sleep:
I am writing this letter to say thank you so very much for the beds that you gave to me and my daughter. Prior to receiving the beds I was sleeping on the floor on a air mattress and my daughter was sleeping on a love seat next to me. Thanks to your kindness we now sleep very comfortably in our own beds. Thank you!
A Mother & Daughter (almost 2 years old)
Dear A Good Night Sleep,
Thank you very much for the beautiful bed set you gave us. Before we received the bed, my son was sleeping on the floor. Now he is sleeping on his beautiful bed and enjoying every minute of it. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
As 2011 comes to an end all of us at A Good Night Sleep (meaning Jenn & Josh), would like to thank you for all your support and generosity over this past year. Through your gifts and connections we have been blessed with the resources to provide 460 new beds to people transitioning out of homelessness and into permanent housing including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas and Nicaragua since our inception. And for this…we are extremely grateful.
2012 is fast approaching and we have a much loftier goal in mind with some very exciting projects in front of us. We can’t wait to share these with you as they take shape in the new year.
Cadet Maxim said, “Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible.” With those words we wanted to encourage all of you to dream big and pursue world-changing passions in 2012!
Bedder Dream Big,
Jenn & Josh
AGNS was very fortunate to work with several families in the LA area to deliver much needed beds in time for Christmas and the holidays. We can’t thank all of our donors and partners enough for helping us make this happen.
Thanks to the entire Dallas Bed Drop Team: Family Gateway, Greater Dallas Justive Revival, Cornerstone Church, & The BridgeNovember 17th, 2011
You all are amazing and we can’t thank you enough for helping us put this Bed Drop together. There are usually many organizations to deal with when putting these events together and this one came together beautifully….except for our little delivery mishap:-) God bless you all and keep up the great work!
